Project Description:

Toystranaut was created at the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts for its Virtual Production Class. It features a mixture of LED wall backdrops, green screen compositing, full CGI shots, and stop-motion claymation. All costumes and props were fabricated by hand in the span of a month. It is currently undergoing post-production with VFX and color being finalized. It will then be shipped off to festivals to be screened

Plot Summary:

When deserter space marine Sindra Fetune crashlands on a dumping planet, she finds companionship in the most unlikely place, a Feltling named Chomper. They must join forces if they ever hope to make it home and escape the clutches of the evil Colonel Vayne.
